Since Mobil has not been officially announced (one way of the other) by Alydaar, it would not be wise for anyone on this thread to provide any further details about any (alleged) relationship. However, keep in mind two things:
1) Mobil was mentioned in SAIC's newsletter as regards Y2K, a company with which ALYD does have a contract. What does your friend have to say about that relationship?
2) With all due respect to your friend, Mobil is a huge international company-- i.e. they have many offices around the world-- so without knowing your friend's position with the company, her statement to you, IMO, is also just one person's opinion.

Personally, if there really is a Mobil connection, I hope it is mid-term since Alydaar's plate is full with other big announcments in the near term, IMO!
