Running lard

The antiquated gunboat, smelling like undercooked bacon, cruised into the valley. A flood made for scanty prey. The three short-order-cooks faced deserting their wheels - there in BLT land. It was a lousy time for Buicks that ran on fatback. Jethro fed his last two cans of lard into the carburetor.
