The snow fizzled. I was almost sad, but the anticipation was fun. I went to sleep looking forward to it. I lay in bed for half an hour thinking about it this morning. (I wasn't in that big of a hurry to get up) Then I sprang up, ran to the window and peeked through the shades expecting to see a winter wonderland and all I saw was green grass and slushy stuff falling from the sky that melted as soon it landed. Pfft. But at work the snow started falling in big flakes and I got to watch it through the window and go outside and stand in it. It was still melting when it landed but it was big flakes. And one day soon it'll stick and I can peek out the window in the morning and grin and walk to work, trudging through it, my socks getting soaked through my sneakers.
