Steve, patientgambler has taken a crack at a fab writedown charge on YAHOO. However, I am interested in your educated opinion, so I am bringing it up here.

At the end of the third quarter Xicor might have a PPE account of $29 million and shareholder equity of $23-4 million. I assume much of the PPE is fab related. I have two questions:

To what extent would it be undesirable to knock shareholder equity below zero? I assume quite undesirable, although a fab writedown would probably not take it that far.

To what extent would it be tactically undesirable to write the fab down if they have some potential buyers around?

In my opinion, the fab will not be written down until 12/31 at the
earliest.
