I'm assuming that the institutional 70% ownership includes Janus. So, 131 x 70% = 91.7 mil + 35mil short shares = 126.7 locked in. That's only under 5mil shares , which is less than 4% left for the day traders. No wonder Amzn hasn't taken the anticipated hit, and probably won't until sometime in the year 2000! Ps I'd rather be 1k long than be 1k short. I might even buy some more tomorrow. Why Dscm has shed off 12 points in the last few weeks, based on float dimensions,and low volume I need to re-think.
