Bob, not I, but someone should tell Bill Murphy that he and GATA and the Cafe are not responsible for present condition of gold, but as from the Dutch thread the real reasons are as you know (1) The Bones (2) Woman Stomping Foot (3) and now as Richard has pointed out, Pig Bellies.
Yes, as you and everyone who visits you web site quickly learns, upfront and easy to gather info on precious metals.
The only way I can figure why you do it all for free is because you know that you want this info, and you know that if you do it in public for all to see then you have to do a better than good job.
Everyone wins.
Now that POG is over $300 I hope my Mongolian gold mine can go back into production. I own no physical gold and I hold no stock in any of the companies mentioned on this thread, just the one for Mongolia with after recent 20:1 consolidation my share value is currently worth 3 cents each. But I do have a $350 (three hundred fifty dollar) investment into a precious metals company in Arizona USA, in at 14 cents couple weeks ago, and currently at 15 cents.
Now eventhought many posts tuesday included specific names for good gold companies to invest in, we all know that is not the purpose for this thread, but I would like to continue as the last one to break the law here and ask you a couple questions.
(going off topic)
A thread on this SI is for above mentioned $350 I'am in, and its one of those "not yet successful, and in toilet" desert dirts. The SI threader Zeev Hed who sometimes posts on this thread, and is one of the very top HOT's, does post on that GPGI (Global Platinum and Gold) thread, and I believe currently not holding any of it shares, but watching closely. Now he is a man of science and my hype is to ask you to post to Zeev a Private message and ask him if it might be worth your time to investigate this company for your web site as a possible either (1) 15 cents to zero (2) 0.15 to 15.00 as the story for this dirt and company has many on that thread either expecting extreme returns or a mini-Bre-X.
(off topic, and includes a hype of a company)
