[WebTV - ADSL - Amati(?) Connection]

The April '97 issue of Internet World has an article entitled "Mass Appeal", an interview of Bill Yundt, Vice President of networking operations of WebTV.

Mr. Yundt hails from Stanford University.

Here's a partial quote from the article:

"I bet my money, right not, on the telcos and ADSL to capture the higher-speed Internet market in the U.S. metropolitan areas rather than the cable companies, for lots of reasons."

I was reading this article yesterday, and thought it would be interesting to post here. The WebTV purchase by MSFT was news in this morning's paper.
