B & A Technology established in 1989, is a dominant presence in the information technology field. The company's electronic tariff software package, as launched in the Greece market, offers discounted airfares for up to 80 airlines. Sales manager, Michael Geraris, of B & A Technology, said: "This is an exciting opportunity to automate a previously labour intensive and restrictive distribution mechanism whilst increasing our market share from travel agents using the CRS/GDS systems. This new distribution with SCS Solars should see B & A Technology rapidly become a major force in the global travel marketplace." Bob Wilson, director of sales for SCS Solars, said: "We welcome B & A Technology to the Solarnet travel network. This agreement gives us another international customer who recognizes the Solarnet travel network as the cost-effective solution for global distribution to the travel industry. In addition, this brings another European travel vendor to our rapidly expanding product line." (c) Copyright 1999 Canjex Publishing Ltd. canada-stockwatch.com
