Actually, the biggest predictor of academic success, besides inherent intelligence, is home support, and there are pilot programs in some cities to lengthen the school day to make up for inadequate home support that have been quite successful. Students have a structured environment and tutorial help with their homework, and sometimes enrichment activities.....
