Biotech research is an unpredictable beast. There is no way you can say the $42m is a "given" - a delay in the timing of Iloperidone or weakness in the overall market and we'd be under $9 in no time. They should seize this opportunity to get rid of the warrants while they can. If they really don't need all the money now, they could even use part of it to buy back some shares, which would reduce or eliminate any weakness.

Sure there might be some weakness in the aftermath of a conversion. However it is going to happen sometime, and there never is a "good" time for weakness.

If they have the $42m in the bank, then there is no reason to sell equity in any deal they do. Just ask for higher milestones and royalties instead.
