Jeff, you are starting your trace from the San Joaquin Vally area and ending at CRL Network Services in San Fancisco. It is one of America's Network Service Providers, with direct connections to the Internet via their own 45Mbps DS3 backbone. CRL owns and operates a meshed, ATM-switched national backbone that connects directly to the major Network Access Points at multiple-T3 speeds for redundancy and fault-tolerant Internet connectivity. For some reason they will not allow a trace beyond this point. Try a new trace route to "tracert quote.com", and give me your results. Quote.com is located in CA.
