I would like to clear up the misunderstanding about what the buying clubs are about, the concept is to provide the consumer the opportunity to buy name brand merchandise at wholesale prices with the buying club taking a small percentage to handle costs associated with the purchase of the merchandise.

The mainstream buying clubs (Costco, Sams, etc..) still have middlemen, have inventory carrying costs and the majority of the products are discontinued models, overstocks and liquidation items, meaning you select from their merchandise. Internet companies have the same issue and continue to mark-up the merchandise as the profit center.

The BYIT model will allow you to purchase the merchandise and name brand you want at significant discounts. If you could save thousand of dollars a year by purchasing at these discounts level what would that be worth to you in form of a membership fee?
