Melinda's presence might not be a bad idea. MSFT has the reputation as an old boys club. In the past, women have not been promoted to executive-level jobs.

I don't know if this is still true. I'd have to take a look at MSFT's homepage for a list of the executives.

I hear Melinda is a smart woman. She may very well develop her own agenda at MSFT which might not coincide with Bill's. You never know.........
