Is the DOW at 36,000 in 3-5 years a Kooky idea? Glassman and Hassett wrote a book on it and maintain that's a likely possibility... dow36000.com Allan Sloan, in this week's Newsweek, thinks they are both wrong, but Sloan, IMO, has misrepresented at least parts of what Glassman and Hassett are saying. Here's what Sloan has to say... newsweek.com Anyone have any ideas on this? I'm reading the book now, and am trying to figure out who the real Kooks are....Glassman and Hassett, or Sloan? From reading the first two chapters of the book, I think Sloan is the one who is off-base; Glassman and Hassett are on the right track. Ice
