I honestly don't think this guy, Milunovich, knows what the hell he is talking about. He takes the one company that is awarded more patents year in and year out than any other company in the world from his Top 10 TECHNOLOGY List (!) I guess that doesn't count as technological competence to him. Then he wrings his hands over possible losses in high profits from hardware sales when the fact is that they are lower profits margins than the booming service sales IBM has.

I guess that's why his top 10 list performs so dismally. Hey, Mulinovich! You have to have some analytical competence before you can call yourself an analyst. You are supposed to keep up with changes in the companies you pretend to cover. I'm an amateur and I'm doing better than you.

The average return is -4.3%. Only SUNW and NT have managed to sustain positive returns."

ML would be justified by taking Mulinovich off their list.
