Neo, not only did neither of the Bushes ask for any strings to be pulled, the man, Ben Barnes, who claims to have done it, said that no one asked him to do it. I still question whether he actually did pull the strings. He was the democratic lt. governor and may have known the Bushes but was, in no way, considered a friend. Why would someone do a favor for someone on the other side of the fence without being asked to do so and, even if he were asked? Also, Barnes was accused of crimes of misuse of public funds and information and got out before they could send him to prison. The Speaker of the House at that time, an aquaintence of mine, was sent to prison as part of the group that misused the money.^ ^ ^TD
