A lot of the selling could have been due to Meridian shareholders who dumped their shares after the deal went through, but I think a large institution also decided to exit HDD/DSS before the end of the quarter due to the possibility of a revenue miss on DLT sales. I'd be interested to know from Quantum how much stock they have been buying back--if any--recently. They need to support this stock before it is no longer a teenager. A recent Lehman report on DSS says that management will keep Wall Street informed of how the quarter's revenues went before earnings are released. Wouldn't you love to be included on the list of people who gets this treatment? We'll only know after the fact. I'm assuming that since the selling in DSS has abated quite a bit that there is not huge problem with quarterly revs, but we'll see.
