HHH: PREMIUM / OPTIONS ETC.. 20 STOCKS ARE MRKT CAP BASED SO U CAN NOT CALULATE THAT for every 100 shares 21 belongs to aol etc. Suppose if aol splits then your 21 number would not be correct. finance.yahoo.com I am not if there is much premium in HHH, isn't it like buying QQQ or SPY etc. If there is premium it would be pretty hard to figure out.
As for OPtions, I have searched every for HHH option and can't find them. Similarly when QQQ first started, I could not find any options and now they have leaps trading. these are 20 stocks mrkt cap weighed. Merrill Lynch Internet Security (HHH 101 5/8 -6 1/2) : Merrill's new single security representing 20 Internet stocks began trading today on the AMEX; firm sold $400 mln shares in the index through its brokers. Stocks in the index include: AOL, YHOO, AMZN, EBAY, ATHM, PCLN, CMGI, INKT, RNWK, EXDS, EGRP, DCLK, AMTD, LCOS, CNET, PSIX, NETA, ELNK, MSPG, and GNET. The index is market cap weighted
As far as ML cheating us...... and screwing w. it .. I doubt it very much. I doubt this represents such a big deal to them.
I think this a great way for a small investor to buy a mutual fund internet stocks ( be it a tiny % of the portfolio) and not pay 5% entry fee to munder net net fund and incur all kinds of short term gains.
I am sure one can short HHH for hedgeing and those who want to companin can complain but I already made a good fortune and interrnet has a long ways to go up and we have only just begun. |
