Jorg.. stocks that appear to have predictive cycles or trading ranges make good trading stocks. Also good for a quick run up then a short are those stocks which soar parabolicly on news that drags in momentum and get rich quick trades because they know those stocks will reverse quickly. IPOs that soar are great targets for shorting, as are small stocks that announce ideas or plans to conquer the world. Eventually, a substantive company has enough investor depth to shake off large swings.
