I like AOL, but its had quite a run since last Thurs so that may be a candidate.

I think you may be on to something.
You might want to try some short-term AOL puts then.
I know several people that are writing covered calls right now. Tells you something about the Long AOL investor mentality. They sat through a harsh dip and now after a decent retracement, they are thinking of hedging; especially with year-end, Y2k jitters, etc. IMO, it makes good sense. Low risk way to essentially short AOL.
