Mark: what the market is pricing in is higher bond yields -- and these are driven right now by long liquidation of bonds to cover highly leveraged short positions on gold. I don't see anybody pricing in a fed tightening yet. If gold makes another surge, it will drive rates up through the same process. If we get bad inflation numbers tomorrow, Friday or Monday -- which would be nothing more than a coincidence -- where was that neckline? LOL
