JFD, As far as i am concerned, this case will be over before too long. Even if we get a negative verdict, it would not result in harsh penalties, IMHO. Then there is the appeals courts.
Jackson is the same guy who last December said that the AOL/Netscape deal changes everything (i don't remember his exact words).

For now MSFT stock seems to be stuck in a bit of a rut. Maybe many investors think that the current time could be used to play other stocks and that there is plenty of time to get back in MSFT.
It is only a matter of a short time before this one moves up.
