I don't follow your logic. Here is mine...

1.
* The "big boys" have a position
* The "big boys" want their position to become more valuable
* The "big boys" say something to increase the value of their position
* The "big boys" exit their position for a greater profit

2.
* A@P and Friends have a position
* A@P and Friends want their position to become more valuable
* A@P and Friends say something to increase the value of their position
* A@P and Friends exit their position for a greater profit

To me, it seems like the motive and tactics are the same. To me, the tactics seem like the other side of the same coin as another past SI guru that has now been banned.

At one time, it seemed like A@P only went for scam stocks. Now it seems like there is an insatiable demand for a new play. And when you are a hammer, you tend to treat everything as if it was a nail. No question that A@P was "The Hammer" when it came to busting scam stocks, but some of the things he is going after don't seem like nails.
