I have heard a few takeover rumors regarding BEA Systems (BEAS). People seem to think HP is in the market for products such as BEAS' to compete with IBM and MS. People are explaining BEAS' recent rise (50% in 2 weeks) as due to a little insider knowledge leaking out. Personally, I think the rise is due to insider knowledge of the rebranding campaign and the public's reaction to the campaign. Would they spend 20 Mil when they are planning on selling? Any opinions out there?
