Skeeter, if this is the remedial economics thread, it is obviously way too advanced for you. You just don't get it, but I suppose that's why your a bear and most of the folks here are bulls. Yes , of course if one makes x number of boxes and can sell all of them @ 1500 they would be foolish to sell them @ 1000. However, if they want to sell X + y number of boxes, a smart company will reduce their price to the price that allows them to maximize their reach into the set of y. Now this is probably too complicated for someone who is used to thinking of wealth in terms of gold/oil/aluminum etc., but with some effort on your part, you can enter the realm of modern life and reap some of its benefits.
