Flight is at 11:25pm local time to Zurich, then Rome. Got an anti-pick-pocket fishing vest from Timberland for the occasion. Hoping for no particular storm of the October kind whilst I am on the plane ... very difficult to react after the fact upon landing. Bringing along all kinds of b-plans of i-net companies to read, and amongst my five travelling companions (including mom and wife), we will have 4 laptops and 5 cellular phones - we in HK are mad. Rome will be pure holiday, whereas the count's residence near Foligno will be for walkies, biking, reading ("Bombadiers" by Po Bronson), eating and b-planning. Of the 5 fellow travellers, two will be switching jobs from Fortune 500s to i-net startups or VCs. I am worried somewhat, as matters appear to be out of range of normality. I will drastically retrench shareholdings (from current 18%, but trading velocity is high) when my neighborhood supermarket gets converted into "Just Caviar & Internet Cafe". There are sure signs of market top recognizable the world over.
