Swedish Ericsson Unable To Meet Demand For New T28 Mobile Phone
Ericsson AB, the world's No. 3 maker of mobile phones, can't deliver enough units of its new T28 mobile phone to satisfy customers' demand for it, reported newspaper FinansTidningen, citing Sten Schroeder, chief executive officer of Onoff, a Swedish retailer of consumer electronics. "We could sell any number of units if we only had some to deliver," said Schroeder, adding that "It's actually pretty frustrating." Ericsson has started making the T28 model in more factories, though Pia Gideon, head of information at Ericsson, admits "it's obviously not enough to meet demand." (www.fti.se) |
