I'm just convinced that 95% of all public schools are full of these types or social misfits." - Perhaps you did not intend it as such, but I find this remark highly offensive. Akula it is no secret that when a liberal hears the truth they are offended by it. What exactly are social misfits. They are people who do anti social things that are seen openly as going against the norm of the general population of our society. In the real world if given a choice would you choose to have open heart surgery by a doctor who looked and acted like Pat Robertson or by someone they looked and acted like Pee Wee Herman? No need for you to answer that because I know that you would choose Pee Wee Herman. They do such things as dye their hair unnatural colors, pierce things, and a few have tatoos. Why is any of this offensive? I'm not at all offended by the things you describe but I do openly laugh at and am highly amused by people who dress up and act like a clown in public. ? I ask you, where have all the flower children gone?. Our generation is largely a recreation of the 60's individual culture. The 60's "free love", "do it because it feels good", "there is no such thing as a fact......only gray areas" culture is still very much alive in our culture today. They are your president and first lady. They truly are the socialist democrats in your congress. They are the liberals who will teach your children about homosexuality when your kids are in the 3rd grade because they will think they are better qualified then you the parent are to teach your kids about sex. In my opinion, to put us in uniforms like some private schools do would be a travesty of education. My children were never required to wear uniforms. The reason for this is that they were required by the schools I sent them to have self discipline. Nothing else but complete discipline was tolerated. If a child was called to the principals office.....the child's parents were also required to be there as well. Perhaps this strict enforcement of adhering to the private schools social norm is the reason for the private school systems great success rate in graduating a superior class of student.
