Food for thought-

What will be the impact if companies switch from 'just in time' inventory planning to 'just in case' to hedge against Y2K supply line interuptions/delays.

There could be some overstocking of inventories in 4th quarter 99. If so, that might cause higher production in 4th quarter - but perhaps lower production/orders in 1Q 2000......
