I suspect your broker senses that you are loaded with inet stocks and don't have too much cash to invest in any of his hot tips so, flexibly enough, he wants you to sell something, anything, so long as there's a commission. Consequently he digs up some atypical anecdotes for your consumption, trying to give the impression that everybody is selling, everything.
