Gosh Mike,

"Another revenue stream" .......... where is the first stream?

We have seen numerous military conflicts involving both Canadian and American military forces within the past 12 months but as of yet NO orders for "mass produced" F.A.S.T.-1's, military or otherwise.

Some folks thought that more "casualty aware" militaries [ be they American or Canadian ] would be scooping up gobs of
F.A.S.T.-1's << IF >> the price were US $ 50.00 each.
But, from your own PR's it has become rather obvious that the major reason that US, Canadian and other forces entered hot zones like Kosovo WITHOUT the benefit of "mass produced" F.A.S.T.-1's is simply because the F.A.S.T.-1's march to "mass production" has been
been far to long and tedious when compared to PYNG's estimates.

At this moment, I suspect that you are concentrating [ quite naturally ] on getting any final "commercial and/or technical bugs out of the " mass production " and "commercialization" processes.

I further am inclined to believe that there must be a few "bugs/hurdles" left as the impression PYNG has given over the past few years is that the "buyers" will be lined up like eager movie-goers just itching to grab tickets for the premiere showing of the "F.A.S.T.-1 Mass Production Extravaganza".

Of course only a select group of the "medical" world even knows of PYNG's existence so the initial order(s) it seems will likely come from that small subset of the medical community who have ever heard of and used <<prototypes>> of the product. Of course there is only so much PYNG could do with a limited budget until the imaginary "revenue stream" becomes a "real" stream. However, being restricted to date to publications in medical journals and the participation to one degree or another in various medical conferences can only reach a small number of the decision makers who could << eventually >>place "significant large orders" . That would explain why a number of "research" hospitals I have talked to in my area have never heard of or know precious little about this "soon to be?" mass produced product.

Still and all, even if the F.A.S.T.-1 is the "turtle" of the new "medical device" market it may well win the race to
"mass production" and profitability ..... someday .... hopefully before man sets foot on the moon again ... or some other
planet.

Now, to show you that I am really an optimist and feel that PYNG is much closer to real sales then would be assumed by reading the above, [ ie. that I really am a PYNG believer and took your 1999 mass production comments to heart ], I am about to initiate Round X of the PYNG CONTEST which was run on this forum so long ago that I can not remember when it started.

I BELIEVE:

that PYNG will announce it's first major order of

<< min.-800/max.-1,200 F.A.S.T.-1's for delivery in late 1999 or Q1/2000 >>

NO LATER THEN ....... October 15, 1999

LOR

P.S.- I will take the first person [ other then a PYNG insider or employee ] who guesses both the correct quantity range for the order size and PYNG announcement date on the nose along with his/her significant other, husband, wife, uncle, aunt etc.etc. for an all expenses paid dinner at one of Montreal's finer restaurants provided of course that the winner arrives in Montreal to collect the prize before say Feb. 28, 2000.

The only conditions are that:
a) the spread can only be a maximum of 400 F.A.S.T.-1 units,
b) only one guess per contestant,
c) all guesses must be posted on this forum on or before noon E.D.S.T. this Sunday ( October 3, 1999. )
D) SOMEONE OTHER THEN LOR gets to audit and announce the name of the lucky winner [ perhaps Jack if you don't mind? ]
E) All entries must be in the following format AND no other format will be accepted for this contest.

contestant/range/order date
ex: LOR/800-1200/1999-10-15

All contestants are free to use any and all of the many hints that Mike Jacob's and his associates may post to this forum and/or pass on to the contestants via other <legal> communication methods other then official PR's. [ heh...heh]
