Hi Ish, still no phone, but I've got internet now, and that's what matters. Funny how much it matters to me, it's like telephone, TV, and newspaper rolled into one, plus this is the place I come to meet you guys, what would we call this, the agora? My window on the world, my window on the soul. I take back everything bad I ever said about Bill Gates, setting up RoadRunner was amazing. All I had to do was click my mouse every few seconds, and the software connected me to the entire world before my very eyes. A huge difference from the first time I set up an Internet account, that took days to get everything straight, due to conflicts, I never could get Internet Explorer to work and had to go back to the ISP and get floppies with Netscape. Remember Trumpet Winsock? |
