I agree, Jorj, I despise all that trash talk back and forth, too.
I think it helps to consider the fact that in A@P's experience the securities industry is rife with criminals and scam artists. He has had a lot of experience with the bad guys - has worked at penny stock promoters as a very young man and has worked in opposition to them for several years.
Like a cop, he sees crime everywhere, because that's what his eyes are trained to see. There is truth in all of his accusations, but not always the whole truth. Often enough though, gosh look at SNMM, TMRT and scores of others.
Take FSTW for example. My opinion is that the FSTW press release re MSFT was a simple release of fact, not intended to triple the stock price. Anthony, having so often seen press releases made for purposes of driving the price up so that insiders can sell, or even short sell, their own stock, assumed the FSTW release was part of a manipulation scheme.
Tony has lived in the world of stock manipulation, so if he sees symptomatic acts occur, he assumes a criminal conspiracy. If you are 100% sure that you are exchanging posts with criminals who will say or do anything and have no respect for anyone, e.g Trav on the Yahoo AMPD thread, you feel free to speak with dis-respect.
It's what cops do when they speak to me and I've never broken a law in my life. I think that's what goes on with Tony. In person he is the most considerate man you can imagine.
