Well neocon, if I may say so, you seem to have a problem with comments that everybody, and I do mean everybody, would take as sweeping insults, and then retracting those comments saying "ooops, I meant something else".
"It depends on your social circle" is awfully snobbish and really it is quite a stretch to think you didn't mean it when you said it. The problem of course is that I live in a high "social circle" even when defined on political terms. So your comments are a bit ludicrous but at the same time they are tiring.
There was also the remarks that some comment I made once was actually thoughtful and so out of context for me... lol. Well, neo, you are not the ultimate arbiter of whether comments are thoughtful around here, I hate to tell you that. The good news is you seem to do this to everybody, remember the "E is my favorite athiest" comment and the time you pulled up a bunch of out of context quotes of mine for Mark Silver to read "as a bit of history". I am wondering if you are used to debating with people that are not your intellectual equals, perhaps, and they let you get away with this creative fibbing? |
