He had an ideal of HIMSELF- and it did not really mesh with reality. He gave the appearance of warmth, with no true feeling. He gave the appearance of caring, but had no empathy. He was a cold fire- AND he really was in a movie in his own mind. You TALK a good game about reality, and not being blinded by mysticism (want to talk about astrology?)- but Reagan was a great mystic. He had some mystic mythic vision fo America in his head- and he could not separate that from reality. Visions are GREAT (imo) as long as one is still in touch with reality. Reagan was not in touch with reality- THAT is why he was so appealing- most people don't like reality, because it is necessary to DEAL with reality. The very people you despise for their mystical religious beleifs believed in Reagan in exactly the same way YOU seem to. You are a mythster FT- you just don't know it. Apparently you are not in touch with reality either.
