Possible buyout of AKLM. fgnonline.com TLC's Big Targets Industry: The Learning Company may launch a takeover of a company the size of Acclaim or even Eidos in its bid to increase the company's profile in the videogames market. TLC is a big player in the children's software market and now wishes to expand into the mainstream. The company has already acquired Mindscape, producers of Circuit Breakers and Prince of Persia 3D. "We either have to take over another operation in the games market or expand our product range by strategic partnerships where appropriate," said TLC's Tony Bordon.
