<<Your last post sounds more than anything like a justification for your previous post.>>

First of all I am too old to try to justify anything. Please, from now on know that my primary reason to have started this thread and to write on it every day that I can is to share, brainstorm, encourage, and create Positives etc. etc.

<<Janik was very wise to go after a man like Fowler and I wouldn't be surprised if he follows suit by adding another successful restaurateur to the board.>>

I hear Europe could be the next Frontier, and a man could already be in place. And NO, it is not a POSITIVE until it is a FAIT ACCOMPLI.

<<The move into the Internet/e-commerce sector may be very profitable but it's not a replacement to their restaurant
business.>>

There is where we disagree... as explained in my previous post. Internet is what will kickstart this company and it's stock (as you have observed a few weeks ago) the restaurant will be a side line eventually. Yes the restaurant starting well but IT alone would take a long long time to move this stock to the level that ONE good INTERNET play can.

<<Heritage has got a lot on the go in the food & Beverage sector and I'm expecting that they will grow GCSC immensely by June 2000. My perspective of the Platinum deal is very realistic; I think it's a great move by Janik -moving his franchise business into the Internet sector - but not enough information has been released on it to make it my primary reason for staying invested.>>

I agree with you here, and is why the stock fell like a rock after the news release.

<< On the other hand, I've been to the GCSC, I've seen the set up and tasted the food and I am thoroughly convinced
that it has what it takes to become a winning franchise. I used to travel daily throughout central Ontario and would
eat lunch, and quite often dinner, five days of the week in restaurants for about six years. I've probably eaten in more restaurants than such culinary critics as Ruth Reichl, Sara Waxman, and David Rosengarten put together. I've learned
which restaurants do well in a given area and which ones don't. I take dining very seriously (in case you haven't noticed) and have always chosen quality over convenience.>>

To quote you "What can I say "

<<Have you been down to the GCSC on Bay yet? I'll be there again tomorrow if you'd like to meet up for lunch. I'll be
there between 11:30 and 1:30.>>

I would like to but since I do not live in the City it is not to convenient today but who knows maybe sometimes I will we can arrange it. I have a friend that lives in Mississauga and works a 7 iron distance from GCSC on Bay, so I gave him some cash to try it out for me and so far he likes it.

Regards,

Den
