Post the rest if you happen to see it Dave,
I've been wondering when the Ariad thing, the
Degulis action in which Blech is named as one
of the defendants, would be done with. I've
never seen any concern over it on the Yahoo
or SI Ariad threads, so never gave it much
thought, but when I see this Blech fellow
pop up again and again I always wonder.

fyi, Blech and Co. was lead underwriter in
1994 for an offering of 13M worth of Ariad
shares priced at $8--that was all I could find on
the net. The rest is covered on page 29 of
the Ariad annual report. In an earlier suit,
the Blech securities litigation, Ariad filed
to be dismissed, and they were not named as
a defendent in an amended complaint on Blech.

The Degulis action is the only thing left,
maybe if they get Blech in that one, the others
can go. Not that Ariad has any money to take--
although I suppose their share of the Hoechst
genomics center is worth more than the current
marketcap. And we have an idea what ARGENT is
worth...but with no partner it might as well
be zero.

Uh oh, I feel a rant coming on, better log off <g>
