**OT** (like the old days)

Today is a little overcast and drizzly, but the sun keeps trying to shine through causing rainbows to obscure my view of Molokai. <G>

Keana Ruth is doing good and growing. We are trying to teach her to cry herself to sleep. So far it's working. If she cries for more than 10 or 15 minutes we go in and give her a little moral support and head back out. Last night Karen slept a full 4 hours for the first time in a month. I'd have to say it's working.

I start my vacation in a week. We're flying into Vancouver BC, spending a day with friends in Bellingham WA, going to Seattle to buy a new (used) car, and driving it to Boise to visit several other friends. Neither of us has ever been there so we're looking forward to the scenery and the fall colors. We don't get that here. Should be a fun couple of weeks. I hope to get a little fishing in too. Since we have to stop every few hours to feed the kid anyway, I'm planning the route to Boise the meander along a few trout streams. When we get back to Seattle we're shipping the car back to Maui.

Gee, I hope I didn't reveal too much personal information. The new guy was making an UPPERCASE deal about learning my last name. Kind of frightening really, to think we might be dealing with some kind of psycho.
