Hi Bernard,
How've you been?
Been busy, busy, busy, here. No time at all to even worry about the market. Only good thing about that is I can at least say I haven't lost any money in the last week.

You know me, with October looming, I wouldn't be calling any bottoms yet. I've really been planning all Summer on waiting till an October correction to jump back in. My gut told me I'd at least get another chance to buy around 36. I didn't expect it like this and this soon though. I'm hoping for about another 10% correction on the Dow to 9300 or so. With WinStar acting like it has lately, who knows where that would get us; maybe 28 to 30 if I were just guessing wildly. But it seems the surest way to call major bottoms (or tops) is judging sentiment, and sentiment doesn't seem bad enough here yet to call a bottom. When it seems the world is about to end and nobody is buying the dips anymore, then I'll bet the farm again. But without that and a bad October, I'll probably start buying around 35 to 36 again.

Hopefully I'll find more time to get more active again and the old regulars will be getting interested in buying again so we can get the thread going like it used to. I imagine that most are still around and getting interested in picking up WinStar again.

Steve
