thanks, EugK, am slowing getting it on DSL/HDR but now the wireless monthly costs for modem attachment to PC's is gonna be prohibitive HDR is not always on, but its cost is now much higher certainly wireless contracts will become more attractively priced, packaged, bundled what exactly is the disadvantage and meaning of "DSL always being on" ??? my take is that DSL is a dedicated phone line with separate cost, broadband speed your patience is appreciated I cannot be alone is this ignorance / jim
