Jones comments on HWP that hit the wire at 2:30east:

``SCI Systems' (NYSE:SCI - news) alleged manufacturing shortfall is limited to the high-end Pavilion PCs, however, mid range and low-end PCs are booming,' Jones said. ``Without Taiwan's problems, expectations for HP's PCs were for a blow-out quarter. With Taiwan's problems, it will be a good quarter, and nicely above plan.'

and if not for analysts the world may even be able to live through earthquakes.

So, the formula is, buy HWP because it's oversold? Sell Dell? just too goofy.
