Lisa, apology accepted, of course. As long as you were making a commentary,I have to agree with what you said. I do not understand any female person not wanting to be called a lady. Where I come from, it is a title meaning the utmost respect.
We even call women, much younger than us, Maam. Another nice word, in our reckoning.Some people let the fact that they have been able to grab the brass ring, make tremendous salaries, and hold dubious titles in business go to their head. When the obsession for wealth and power takes control any person,male or female, is walking the wrong path, IMO.
It is truly a tragedy that your daughter was so shabbily treated. The actions of the man are truly despicable.
I would never call a lady the "little woman". This places her in the category of chattel, which is totally unacceptable.^ ^ ^TD |
