I think you have very little understanding of the Indian juggernaut. The BJP is simply a manifestation of this juggernaut that has been frustrated with a corrupt Congress gathering votes by spreading misinformation. The Indian juggernaut does not appreciate the far-right views of the RSS or the far left views of the Communists.

Vajpayee, an astute politician, is simply epitomizing and representing this Indian juggernaut by keeping the RSS at bay and hitting at Congress misinformation. This is why, ideologically, the NDA agenda is not very different from that of the Congress.

Indians want the party that will deliver results. Now, they see it feasible through Vajpayee. Even some Pakistani ministers have said to vote for Vajpayee if they lived in India. If such a figure were to emerge in Congress that can deliver results, rather than seeking votes through the appeals of a dynasty, then the competition will be fierce.
