MGCN update: 9/30/99 There is a 90% chance that MGCN will do its 'big' news release within a week. There is now much intelligent discussion concerning Megachain on Raging Bull. One interesting line there concerns similarities between MGCN and Alladvantage. MGCN is actually attempting to sign up Alladvantage as a superagent, though the negotiations with them are still at a preliminary stage. Talks are further along with some other organizations that sign up members via email. Negotiations with Mindspring are temporarily on hold, as Mindspring deals with merger issues. These negotiations could be resumed at any time. Other ISP's continue to sign on as superagents. The Sympatico ISP deal is done. Enough superagents have joined up so that the initial Megachain launch will involve invitations being sent to more than half a million people. Correction: I incorrectly reported that Greenchip had bought the option on the European franchise of MGCN. They actually only got the option on the United Kingdom franchise. Greenchip wanted to buy the Euro franchise, but (because of other ongoing negotiations) Tom Lavin wasn't willing to give them that much, and Greenchip eventually settled for just the UK. Today's stock price movement: Up again. Todays close was approximately the same as the highs reached during the mania of a few days ago. That, along with the stock's inability to drop below 1 1/8, are powerful technical indicators for further upward movement. Market maker attempts to walk the price down are thwarted.
