TIV Launches New Company to Provide Internet Solutions to Hotel Industry;WiredInn.com to Deliver In-Room Internet Connectivity and E-Business Solutions

DALLAS, Sept. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- TIV, a Dallas-based telecommunications services consulting firm, today announced that it is spinning off a new company to deliver Internet solutions to its 350 five-star international hotel clients. The new company, known as WiredInn.com, will provide Internet connectivity, hotel e-business solutions, and Internet advertising to the hospitality industry and will focus entirely on the international marketplace.

Chris Johnson, formerly the Senior Vice President of Marketing for TIV, has been named to head up http://www.WiredInn.com and will serve as the COO. Johnson formerly led Internet operations for Sprint Business in Dallas and served as Marketing Director for Nations Credit, a division of Bank of America.

"The hospitality industry is driving a tremendous need for in-room Internet connectivity and e-business solutions to serve international business travelers," said Johnson. "WiredInn.com is ideally positioned to become the leading provider of these solutions. We are not the typical start-up operation because we have strong support from TIV and high interest in our services from their outstanding client base throughout the world. We've developed a number of key relationships with suppliers in strategic locations internationally and believe we'll achieve immediate success when the service launches in the next few weeks."

David Larsen, CEO and founder of TIV, was equally optimistic about WiredInn's eminent launch. "WiredInn.com was formed to focus specifically on the Internet and e-business needs of the hospitality industry. TIV will remain focused on general telecommunications and auditing needs for international hotels. The need for WiredInn's services is great and the growth likely will be explosive, which is another reason why we felt it was in the best interest of TIV and WiredInn.Com to enable the new company to operate separately to meet this extraordinary demand."

TIV was recently named one of the fastest-growing private companies in the greater Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. The company has a unique heritage in that it does not target the domestic hospitality industry, but rather concentrates on assisting hotel general managers across the globe by enhancing revenues and reducing costs in their telecommunications departments. By spinning off WiredInn.com, which is a wholly owned subsidiary, TIV demonstrates their ongoing commitment to providing custom solutions to international hoteliers and their guests.

Founded in 1987, TIV is a global provider of telecommunications auditing and consulting services for luxury hotels around the world. TIV has established long-term relationships with more than 350 of the world's most prestigious hoteliers in more than 57 countries on every continent, establishing themselves as "The Hospitality Advocate". The corporate headquarters of TIV is located in the greater Dallas, Texas metroplex.
