My wife kept her last name after our marriage, too. We got married in Connecticut, nobody batted an eye about it. We moved to the cowboy town of Beggs, Oklahoma a couple of years ago. People there thought it was the craziest thing they had heard of, but they accepted it with humor. We live in Tulsa now, most folks seem to take in stride, but I've not met anyone here who has done a similar thing. In Connecticut I was acquainted with several married couples with different last names.
