ANTEC stock hasn't needed much jamming. That press release was pretty much just an information update. DWDM is important to ANTEC's future growth and my personal opinion is that it was not so much to jam the price up a little more at the end of the quarter as it was to counter the Harmonic Inc. juggernaut. Everyone talks about Harmonics' DWDM as being the ultimate but ANTEC is quietly getting contracts and gaining market share. So Jim Bauer is just trying to let everybody know that Harmonic is not the only cable DWDM system out there and that ANTEC has a real system that is in real deployment.
