My hat is off to Western Digital for their gutsy move. If I used a hard drive for 6 months and had a failure, it would be a terrible inconvenience. My most current data would be lost. If I ever found out that the disk dive company new my drive would fail and did nothing, I would never buy a product from them again. Since Western Digital will replace a bad drive as soon as they discover there is a problem, I prefer them as a manufacturer. I do not know if other manufacturers would would honor their products so strong. Western Digital is credible. I think their honor is even greater because they honor their product in a time when they can least afford it. Mark M.
