E, your don't HAVE TO keep mentioning Reagan at all, unless you have some kind of compulsive disorder.

I am forgetting nothing about Reagan (which is not the same as saying I know everything about him). I admire the man greatly as a leader of this country. Regardless of any personal short-coming, he was able to look into a camera and make Americans feel safe, confident, proud, optimistic -- a hell of a gift. And, oh-so-welcome after the self-doubt administration.

And, for whatever reason, the Soviets took him seriously. That was way big, E.

I do not think Reagan was a war criminal. Period.

Neither of us is going to convince the other to change opinions about President Reagan. Why offend one another with insults about the man OR those who oppose him?

We disagree on this one. If you absolutely must have a "gotcha last" on the subject, OK by me. I'd like to explore another subject.
